For many years the Parish Council has been trying to find land suitable for allotments but so far has been unsuccessful.
However if you would like to register an interest in having an allotment if and when they become available, please contact the Parish Clerk.

HAWADS (Houghton and Wyton Amateur Dramatic Society) This is a fun group of people aged 18 upwards who do not mind making a fool of themselves for village entertainment!! One or two productions are put on each year, eg beginning of July and mid-December and a social evening is held before each production so that anyone in the village can come along and offer to be involved. As well as acting we always need help with costumes, scenery painting and making props, food etc. Theatre trips are also organized socially.
