Back in April last year we carried out a survey to find out what improvements you would like to see at our play area. You had some great ideas and suggestions, and we have already put some of these in place, including new swings and repairs to the toddler climbing frame and treehouse climbing frame.

We are excited to announce that we have secured funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to install islands of rubber surfacing around the swings, treehouse climbing frame and spinner. This was something many of you were keen to see, to improve safety for children using the equipment.

The surfacing is due to be installed over the next couple of weeks. Look out for updates on closures and when the play area will be ready to use again.
